Repressed memories is a personal project that I worked on from scratch. I wrote and illustrated it as an outlet to process my emotions and create something raw. 

The cover is inspired by blackout poetry. The idea is to convey how whenever the girl thought of her first kiss it used to be linked to the song until the repressed memories came up.

Now when asked, she tries to link it with the song, but with hesitation.

The before part and the after part is in colour and all the part with the repressed stuff that she’s dealing with is all monochromatic as an attempt to be symbolic with her emotions.
